MOTHERS DAY

Lost Boys: "What's a mother?" Wendy: "A mother...a real mother, is the most wonderful person in the world. She's the angel voice that bids you good night, kisses your cheek, and whispers sleep tight."
(You're Mother and Mine)

We went to Idaho to see my Grandpa and Grandma graduate college.

There were a lot of horses and cows there so I sang "e-i-e-i-ooooooooooo" for about 3 days straight. I even shouted it at random strangers in the airport.

There were a lot of cousins to play with there...

And four wheelers and tractors...

And uncle Jake has the best toys!

I was not a very brave flyer, although my mom said that was for the best. I sat on her lap the whole time and never asked to get up.

I did like the airport though.

I checked out the airplane for about 30 seconds and decided I didn't like it....

I gave mom the sign for "All done" but she didn't listen. I just slept the whole way, nothin' for me to do anyway.

"MANCATION"

~rOaD tRiP~
My dad took some time off work so we did some hangin' out.

We went down to visit my grandparents and my favorite part was the stairs...and the dogs. Me and the dogs don't hold still long enough for pictures though.

I liked this little pig...but he didn't have much to say.

The only person who has ever successfully rocked me to sleep is Pop...How could I resist!

I got a little stomach flu the first night, which is becoming sort of a tradition on my road trips. I seemed to bounce back fine, I think it was harder on my mom. She should have taken a nap on Pop's lap too. That really seemed to help.

~ THE ZOO ~
We headed back home and went to the Zoo...when the rain stopped for a minute.

This was the first sunny day in a LONG time. Clearly I did not want to stop and see the animals...I merely wanted to glance at them as I jogged past. I tried to make that clear to Mom and Dad but they weren't getting the message.

Dad had enough of my winning and threatened to teach me a lesson so I had to clean up my act.

I am always a big fan of the petting zoo!

And I loved drivin' the safari Jeep...

And I am pretty sure I could take on this Polar Bear!

It was a great day at the ZOO :)

Spring 2010

It's time to hit the slopes with my Dad! Springtime is the best time to head to the mountain because it's still raining in town and can be sunny up at the lodge. Plus there is a lot of space for me to do my favorite thing....WALK!

Do I have to wear these goggles? :(

We start with breakfast in the lodge, I didn't have time to do my hair this morning :)

I like to hangout on the patio and listen to the music...too many people watching me so I didn't want to dance today. ~hangin' on the patio~

Finally Dad took a break to come give me a ride. ~snowboarding~ ~snowboarding2~

Mom follows me everywhere...she swears we walk 5 miles a day up there :)

I love to climb all the stairs, it's a little tough in my boots though.

I like to watch all the little kids ski on the bunny hill. The first week I was allowed to ride up the 'magic carpet' conveyor belt that gets all the kids to the top of the hill and then I would run down the hill. Now they say I'm too little and I am very sad...when is it my turn??

We were eating lunch in the lodge and I got a little crazy and spilled my mac n' cheese all over the floor and I shouted "OH NOOO!!!" Mom quickly said shhhhh and I held my little finger up to here lips and said shhh. She seemed to think that was hilarous :) Later someone stole my drink cup...Who steals from a baby??!!??

I like to dance to the live music in the lodge. Luckily the battery on the camera ran out before I really got into it...I got a little carried away :) Oh yea...and they give away free cookies in this place, if Mom doesn't watch closely I end up with one in each hand. ~dancing in the lodge~

At the end of the day Dad didn't wan to carry me and his board and the big red bag so he put us all together and sent us down the hill ~sledding~

I am 18 months now! That means I am old enough to go into the nursery class at church. I have been knocking at the door for a few months so when Mom opened the door I ran in and never looked back! My hair got a little messy...but other than that I came home happy with a noodle necklace :)

They are always feeding us treats in nursery, but I only like the chocolate ones.

How embarrassing...Mom thinks my bedhead is sooooo funny.

I am getting very clever at climbing and getting into things. Nothing is off limits to me as far as I am concerned :)

Winter 2009/2010

Winter is sometimes a little unpredictable around here. As you can see our winter pictures look like spring and our spring pictures look like winter. Either way I seem to have fun!

I like to go visit the duck pond behind the house... but sometimes I get a little too close to the edge.

My hair is getting longer and curlier everyday!

What is that bright thing in the sky!!??!! Even on our nice days we don't get a lot of sun so I didn't quite know what to think. Mom had to get my hat so my eyes would stop watering.

The nice thing about rain is that it leaves behind puddles!!

Sunny Days at the Park!

I am mostly interested in the other kids, but they are not that into me because I am so little :(

The one time mom decided to photograph me going down the slide I shot right off the end and landed on my bum! I gave her my best grumpy face and then bounced right back for some more.

When it starts to rain we have to stay inside a lot...but mom can only handle so much so we go to the mall play land to burn some energy. ~mall play-land~ ~mall play-land2~
